Marijke Hoebee is a Videographer, Photographer and Director based in New York City & Amsterdam and working everywhere.
The daughter of a sea sailor and a trail seeker, Marijke is always looking to expand her horizon. She’s motivated by learning about people’s stories and exploring the world.
Marijke finished teacher training college in London and wrote her Master thesis in Education at the University of Uppsala, Sweden. After graduation she combined her knowledge of Education with Media, becoming a visual storyteller in 2004.
She figured the world is big enough to call two places her home. San Francisco and Amsterdam used to be just that. Currently Marijke is sharing her time mostly between New York City and Amsterdam.
Marijke has been honored to work with (non-)profit organizations and television production companies. She’s is always excited when projects allow her to meet new people and travel to new places.
